Project
(1) Reducing the numerical parameter dependency of the current ERC-KIVA spray models. (2) Develop and improve the next-generation spray model (continuum-based dense spray at near-nozzle region, particle-based dilute spray region, and the transition between these two).
Long Term Goals
(1) Fluid mechanics research in complex flow phenomena (multi-phase, multi-component, chemically reactive, etc) (2) Industry with thermo-fluid science background; (3) Numerical simulation as a tool.
