Ignition and mixture formation characterization in CIDI engines using alternative fuels with extreme physical properties.

Long Term Goals

-Contribute to our fundamental understanding of the spray ignition process. -Assess real fuel performance impact resulting from large physical properties differences. -Enable CIDI engines to effectively utilize a wider array of fuels, particularly those derived from biomass. -Apply my experiences in an academic or research role upon graduation.
